  1. I have just discovered this wonderful website while researching Harry Clarke's exquisite stained glass. My mother was a Kilkenny City lass and my father's family were all from North Wales. so I am a bit obsessed with my 'Twilight' heritage. I use folklore and myth of the British Isles and Eire in much of my writing and this site will be a goddess-send for inspiration and education. Bright Blessings to you all

  2. It's marvelous to see elders so marvelously rendered in Pagan art. I'm 70, and deathly sick of seeing bimbofied teenagers in scanty fantasy armor or wispy negligees used to represent the Crone, or mostly-naked hunks straight off the covers of bodice-ripper novels representing the Sage. Not that I have anything against nearly-naked hunks, you understand--I'm old, but not dead--but it's lovely to see faces that look more like mine!
